Beqaa Valley Rose from Domaine Wardy is a fresh and floral wine with lots of fruit. This wine contains strategically selected grape varieties such as Cinsault (60%), Grenache (20%) and Syrah (20%) are program!

Initially, a harmonious aroma of strawberries and caramel evolves in the nose. Accordingly, the bouquet is also very fruity and lively. However, not too playful. This is soon followed by nuances of cherries, raspberries and even lavender. This is then followed by hints of roses and white pepper. In this regard, a very versatile game in the nose and a well produced wine from Domaine Wardy!

Soon after, the palate surprises immediately with an expressive taste of peach, raspberries as well as pomelo. And because of the right acidity, this wine carries a great freshness, which also sticks with the complete Journey too and thus makes the wine lively and young. Finally, the wine seems to be more and more creamy towards the end. Already almost a little creamy. Therefore, a really pleasant Lebanese wine, which can be drunk with both white meat and fish.

About the production of Beqaa Valley Rose

And last but not least we get to the cultivation of the vines. In this case the vineyards grow 900 to 1050 meters above sea level. Similar to many other wineries of Lebanon. Furthermore, the vines enjoy numerous hours of sunshine and are covered in snow for up to three months in winter. In this regard, this gives the wineries of Lebanon an ideal weather for the cultivation of high quality wines and remains one of the most important features of Lebanese wine culture.

Of course, this was already known to the Romans, who used the Bekaa Valley as the granary of the Roman Empire. Thus, large quantities of wine were produced there for that specific part of their empire. Accordingly, the winery has named this line after the Terroir Beqaa Valley in order to pay respect and homage. On the one hand to honor the fertile soils and on the other hand to preserve their identity.

Consequently, we have now come to the label of this Lebanese wine. Especially, because precisely also demonstrates exactly the vision and credo of the winery: A both modern and authentic way to preserve the identity of the fertile soils and historical wine culture of Lebanon.
