About the production of this aniseed brandy.

The alcohol of this brandy is obtained from the native Obeidi grape. A very strong and acidic grape variety, which today is also used for the production of Lebanese wines. Of course, primarily in order to create the structure. Furthermore, the grapes are then fermented in normal stainless steel tanks. Accordingly, Domaine des Tourelles distills the resulting alcohol then three more three more times. And similar to the production of almost all other varieties, high-quality aniseed is being added during the last distillation. Furthermore, Domaine des Tourelles has been growing its own anise seeds for several years now. Doing this, of course, will be another method to improve the structure of their own arak.

And last but not least, the Arak Brun Classic is then ages for one year in clay jars made in Zahle. This traditional methodmakes the arak smooth and gentle. In addition, the distillery thus also removes almost all pollutants such as ethanol.
